A Panda may be cute, but its powerful.
On September 18, Google announced they would be rolling out another Panda refresh. Just two months later and many are feeling it’s icy breath. Panda is Google’s code name for a series of updates they started in 2011 that remove low quality content from Google’s search index. This latest refresh is expected to only impact less than 0.7% of search results. So what does this mean for you? It serves as a good reminder that you should have a diversified and well-rounded marketing strategy that is built on a foundation of quality content. Make the content on your website useful and informative. Keep it fresh and never duplicate content.
If you are already using our service, don’t worry about Panda attacks because our clients have received healthy increases in more website traffic while the “other guys” have lost 16-20% of their traffic to the arctic animal. You may very well lose links from ones that were built before we were engaged.
