Get Malware Protection!

My website was hacked a couple of weeks and ago and I have had quite the lesson in hacking over the past couple of weeks. Nobody realizes how bad and how troublesome a hack is until it happens. I had 3500 web pages added to my website from some company in India that writes resumes. I have realized that without Malware protection that you will eventually get hacked and once you do, it can cost you (as it has me) hundreds of dollars to get your site cleaned and off of the blacklist if it made it that far.
Having an antivirus on your computer only protects your hard drive on your computer and not your web site. If you don’t have your website protected it WILL cost you money and possibly lost customers.

According to a 2012 Sophos Security Threat Report, on average 30,000 websites are hacked every day and that was 4 years ago. Whilst some big brands may be specifically targeted, generally, cyber criminals simply use highly effective computer software programs to automatically detect vulnerable websites, which are perfect to infect, no matter how big or small they are.

Let me recommend a malware program that I found that is less expensive than most and have done a great job on 3 of my sites so far that I have protected. (I am wanting to put all of my sites on it) They are called SafeGuarding.com and can be found at www.siteguarding.com If you get an annual program for the first year, they will clean your website from top to bottom even if you have been hacked terribly like myself. That alone can save you hundreds of dollars. Then you can go on a month to month package if you like. It is about half the price of some of the others that I found that do the same thing and they have proven to be very good on customer service. If you don’t use these guys, do something to protect your website.

You will get hacked eventually and it is no fun!
